Family Challah Bake 

Wednesday,  June 4 | 5:30pm

Making challah is a beautiful way to bring holiness into the home for Shabbat. This will feature a speaker and short discussion tied to Jewish values, and an opportunity to socialize and experience making challah together.

Cost: $18 for the family

Shalom Storytime

Sunday, May 25 | 11:00AM

Join us for Shalom Storytime, a fun and engaging early literacy program designed for children ages 0-4 and their grown-ups! Through joyful stories, lively songs, and hands-on activities, we’ll explore Jewish values, traditions, and holidays in a warm, welcoming space. Whether you’re snuggling up for a PJ Library favorite or dancing to a catchy tune, your little one will build a love of books, language, and community—one story at a time!

Cost: $10 per session

Chess Club

May 25, June 1, June 8| 10:00AM

Young chess enthusiasts will learn strategies and practice their chess skills with an instructor. Participants will work towards a tournament at the end of the year with awesome prizes!  Minimum 8 registrants needed to run the course. Kosher refreshments served. *Dates subject to change depending on registration numbers.

Morris Black Speaking Contest

The Morris Black Speaking Contest is a beloved community-wide event celebrating over five decades in Hamilton! Open to students in Grades 3-8, participants are invited to craft speeches on Jewish topics and present them among their peers. Both competitive and non-competitive options are available, and students can benefit from a speech writing workshop prior to the event.
