PJ Library Tea Party

Sunday, May 24 | 2:30-4:30pm

Join us for a delightful PJ Library Tea Party—an afternoon designed for connection, laughter, and a little bit of magic.

Children, parents, and grandparents are all invited to come together to enjoy stories, treats, and quality time across generations.

Sip, snack, and celebrate the joy of being together—because the sweetest moments are the ones we share.

Cost: $10+hst per person

Home Alone Course

Sunday, April 19 | 8:30am-3:30pm

A one-day program designed for children 10 years of age and older to help prepare them stay safe in times where they may find themselves alone for short periods of time. Phone calls and visitors, recognizing hazards, following home safety procedures, first aid basics, healthy eating, fire safety, and how to use 911 will be covered. St. John Ambulance believes that youth who are well prepared for the unexpected, will more confidently handle an emergency and be safer as a result. Each student will receive a Canada Safety Council Handbook and certificate

In need of financial assistance for children’s extracurricular activities?

The Children’s Enrichment  Program, founded by Sandra F. Witelson and supported by the Sandra F. Witelson Fund and the Lewis and Ruth Sherman Foundation, this initiative aims to provide Jewish children ages 4–12 from families with limited financial resources the opportunity to grow through participation in extracurricular activities such as music, arts, sports, science, gymnastics, drama, coding and more.

Morris Black Speaking Contest

The Morris Black Speaking Contest is a beloved community-wide event celebrating over five decades in Hamilton! Open to students in Grades 3-8, participants are invited to craft speeches on Jewish topics and present them among their peers. Both competitive and non-competitive options are available, and students can benefit from a speech writing workshop prior to the event.
