Beit Ha’am Z-Talks Films

A series of short award-winning Israeli films bringing the story of the Israeli society from different and original angles. The films present various perspectives on Israeli society, the way of life in Israel, and issues of concern to young Israeli filmmakers.

All movies will be followed by discussions and interactive activities facilitated by Adi Biton, our Israeli Shlichah. Individual tickets $5 per person. All films $15 per person.

Cooking in Hebrew: “White Night – Dishes for Shavuot.”

You are invited to join us for a new hands-on culinary adventure called “Cooking in Hebew”, for English speakers. Sunday, June 2 at 6pm. We will make and enjoy a true Israeli feast: This meeting will focus on all the cheesy goodness to celebrate Shavuot! $18 per person



Tachles is a series of sessions from which participants emerge with some simple, useful, spoken Hebrew. The group sessions help you learn Israeli slang, how to ask questions and understand the answers you get, and acquire basic vocabulary. Thursdays at 7pm. May 16 Speed Dating , May 23 - Getting Around - Israel, May 30 - The Shuk , June 6 – At the Mall/ Shopping, June 13 - Hummus Contest. $50 for the full session.
